Plan the full cost of medical study abroad.

A whole-course budget worksheet that separates tuition, living costs, one-time charges, refundable deposits and payment timing.

A headline tuition fee does not describe the full commitment. Record each cost’s academic year, original currency, amount, payment date, source or estimate basis, and date checked. Blank or unavailable amounts should remain unknown.

Use the university’s fee schedule for your intake and applicant category. Keep a dated exchange-rate assumption when converting currencies; the cost planner changes the currency label without converting amounts.

Separate expenditure from cash needed

A refundable deposit may increase cash needed at arrival without being the same as a final expense. Keep its return conditions and expected timing visible. Do not assume that a scholarship, student job or refund will fund a required payment before it is confirmed.

Stress-test the plan

  • Check the first-year cash needed before and after arrival.
  • Review every later year, with explicit cost-change assumptions.
  • Discuss how the family would respond to a different housing option, exchange rate, repeat year or delayed start.
  • Verify bank details, the payee and refund conditions directly before payment.

Enter your own figures in the year-by-year cost planner. Values stay in page memory and are not sent to Vistara or analytics. A calculated total is a planning estimate, not a quotation or financial recommendation.
